Elmo, Home Cooked Dinner and Bikinis
Did my title not flow? Because, I totally thought it did...just saying!
1) Elmo- I was very anti-character clothes (I still am...don't get me wrong...) but, who can resist this cuteness?
2) Home Cooked Dinner...super easy- open bag, microwave (at home- this is key so it is homecooked) and serve to a cutie!
3) Finally, model your bikini (more like chase mommy in your bikini for snuggles!)
(it is a little bunchy- but will be perfect this summer!)

Being a Momma makes you say some CRAZY stuff...
Such as:
Exhibit A:
Me: No, Scuba Steve lives in the bathtub, not in your bed.
C: Pop?
Me: You can not ask Pop. Scuba Steve lives in the bathtub
Exhibit B:
Me: Do not eat a clorox wipe. That can not be good for you.
C: *silence*
Exhibit C:
Me: Caroline! Where are your clothes?
Exhibit D:
Me: Can we just watch Blue's Clues (as opposed to Elmo...for the 105th time that day...it is bad when you are that desperate for a "change of scenery")
The list goes on...
But, now, at least my little c responds and so it becomes more of a conversations (or "discussion" since C-Bear seems to think she knows best)

Redecorating
So...after trying to shop for furniture (epic fail) this weekend...I decided I didn't know what would work in our living room till I moved some of the toys out of there! So...at first...I was going to convert the spare bedroom to a playroom. Then, I decided- I would move some of C's toys into her bedroom. She didn't really need a changing table in there (no, we are not potty trained- but she does go into the bathroom to get a new diaper and she does use the potty sometimes...and she hates the changing table- sooo needless to say- I packed that up.) Which, gave us some extra space for some of the toys!
Caroline looks so guilty! haha :)
Now, part b of redecorating- I am getting some fence quotes. I think once we get a fence, we can move some of her stuff outside- the playhouse, slide, etc. And then- I am going to clear out the garage and put her atv out there. At that point...the living room will have a few bookcases with toys and much more space!
With a better vision- I now know that I clearly want a sectional. I love this one at la-z-boy that combines a recliner with the sections- meets both of B and I's needs- looks nice and a recliner :)
I am ready to finally invest in some nice pieces and quit living like college kids (no blame on Bruce- I am the cheap one who has minor (ok major) anxiety attacks at the thought of spending over $20...just saying! I am working on this!

Life Lessons
So, when I picked up and was blown away by her friend Nora's (21 months) ability to say the ABC's- like a-z and can correct you if you skip one...totally amazing...like a child prodigy. So, on the way home...I decided (instead of normally singing loudly with radio...this girl loves some country music) to sing the ABC's- you know to inspire the inner child prodigy within C. As I am singing, I notice it is totally quiet in the backseat. At a stop light, I turn around and see that C has taken off her shoe and put all of her afternoon snack of cereal in her shoe and is licking each piece of cereal out of her shoe using her tongue. So, giving up on the child genius thing- we headed to the park to meet our friend Weston.
And...a yummilicious dinner at Hardees!
So, the life lesson of today- I am so glad C is who C is :) She can't say the alphabet, nor is she interested. But, you know what, neither am I. I am way more interested in seeing the sweet, fun person she is becoming!

Dogs, Dogs, Dogs!
On our way to go look at some puppies! Caroline wanted to take her puppy with her!
Caroline "barked" all the way to the place...I guess she was talking to her dog!
Caroline was super excited when she saw all of the puppies
(she didn't quite understand they couldn't come to her through the fence...)But puppies wore Miss Priss out!
Maybe a puppy is in our future???? Who knows?? :)

This one is for Daddy!
We miss you and love you!!! Hope you have a wonderful birthday! (And, a lucky bingo day!) Caroline and I will puppy visit in your honor! :) This was Miss Priss' face when I told her it was your birthday- she realizes those are pretty fun now!
Considering Converting my kitchne to a donut factory
We started our morning talking about puppies- C's favorite conversation topic!
Then, we went to Krispy Kreme- no pictures from the event b/c we were stuffing our faces (thus the blog title). So glad we got to see Aunt Paula!! Caroline loved coloring pictures with her Aunt Paula and looking at her dog pictures on her phone. Then...we headed to Edventure
Then...after a nap, we played on the playground some!
And...finished our day the same way we started...with a donut. I am telling you, if I had one of those donut machines in my kitchen- we would use the kitchen WAY more often

Every girl needs a pink car!
Since NayNay was in the hospital, my friend, Keenan, watched Miss Priss in the morning and I spent the afternoon with my sweet girl- while I hated the reason, I love the opportunity to spend time with my girl! So, we decided to walk up to the park.
C enjoyed the normal park activities, at first...Then, we discovered dirt...
And...we became obsessesd with putting the dirt in our pink car...
Messy, but my sweet girl had a blast!!
And, when we got back- we had a text from NayNay that said: "NayNay is home and feeling great! passed all tests with flying colors. Bring my babies tomorrow. Can't wait to see them"- music to my ears!!! There is literally no one besides B and I that I trust to watch Miss C as much as NayNay. When I go to work, and NayNay is watching her, I know she is with someone who loves her so much! Puts this momma's mind at ease- so glad she has a clean bill of health! We love NayNay!!
My Valentine Date!
This year, my valentine's date was the wonderful Miss C- and she couldn't been a more perfect date! We started our morning by waking up sleeping beauty:
Then- we found our V-Day surprises...
And, off to NayNay's we went:
Then, a bit of a dramatic ending to the work day. Our beloved NayNay started having chest pains and had to go to the hospital. We were so lucky that NayNay's sweet girls, Meghan and Anna, watched over Miss C till I could get there.
When C and I got home, we shared some Easy Mac!
Perfect evening with my girl!
